Safety Relief Valves

Safety relief valves are an important component for pressure control in industrial plants and equipment. When the system pressure reaches a predetermined limit, these devices work by automatically venting the surplus fluid to the environment, thus lowering the high pressure to a safe level in a controlled manner.

Because of their pressure regulating role, safety relief valves are, in fact, the same type of valves as pressure relief valves.
